Pollos San Juan
Since 1963, Pollos San Juan fills the street surrounding the Atarazanas market with the smell of roasted chicken. It is no surprise that the chicken menu, with a quarter, half or a whole chicken served with chips and a sauce, have been a number 1 bestseller since its opening in 1963.
This asador also has a wide range of takeaway dishes, such as paella, gazpacho and salads, making it a popular shop for locals and tourists who are looking for a healthy, ready-made meal. Choose one of the dishes served in plastic containers out of the fridge and pay at the counter, where you find cutlery and napkins.
Within a couple of seconds, you are ready to enjoy your Spanish food wherever you want. Can’t wait to dig in? There are a couple of tables and bar stools outside.
NEWS: Pollos San Juan has started their own recycling campaign to encourage customers to return the plastic and aluminium containers. Each container will cost you an extra 4 cent at the cash register, but when brought back cleaned and with the ticket, you will get 8 cents in return.
Credit cards accepted.
